Sandro: exitosa operación de trasplante de corazón y pulmones
El último parte médico indica que la evolución es de acuerdo a lo esperado por los médicos.
Cerca de le las 12, el equipo médico que intervino a Sandro indicó que la evolución del popular cantante está de acuerdo a lo previsto, con respiración mecánica que se mantendrá por lo menos por siete días más.
También se indicó que la complicación que podría esperarse es un sangrado, habitual en este tipo de trasplantes, pero que no hay sobresaltos por ahora.
Sandro sufrió un leve sangrado en la madrugada, pero no inquietó a los médicos por tratarse de algo rutinario. Los médicos irán evaluando de manera permanente la evolución, y se indicó que el estado es más favorable de lo que se esperaba de acuerdo a la situación del paciente al ingreso al quirófano.
La operación
Tras cinco horas de habersele practido la intervención de doble transplante cardiopulmonar al cantante Sandro, el Dr. Nicolás, integrante del cuerpo multidisciplinario que realizó la operación comandada por el Dr. Burgos, brindó el primer parte médico y sostuvo que la operación fue un éxito y que ahora serán vitales las próximas 48 y 72 horas. "Está estable, los órganos ya están funcionando y el paciente respondió muy bien al transplante. Ahora está en la sala de cuidados intensivos y resta esperar las próximas 48 y 72 horas para ver su evolución", aseguró el profesional.
La familia ya fue notificada de la operación, que comenzó a las 17 y se extendió por 5 horas, dentro del tiempo previsto por los especialistas del hospital Italiano.
El comienzo de la jornada
El avión aterrizó que trasladó al cantante Sandro desde Aeroparque hasta nuestra provincia, llegó a las 10.45. Desde el hospital Italiano, lugar donde se desarrolla en estos momentos el transplante cardiopulmonar, solicitaron sangre del grupo B u O factor RH negativo. El operativo de traslado del artista a Mendoza comenzó a las 3 de la madrugada de hoy. La intervención lleva alrededor de dos horas.
Sandro estaba internado desde marzo con su problema de EPOC (Enfermedad Pulmonar Obstructiva Crónica) y, para mejorar, necesita con urgencia un trasplante de corazón y pulmones.
Claudio Burgos, director del Departamento de Cirugía Cardiovascular del Hospital Italiano de Mendoza, había expresado tiempo atrás que la operación de doble trasplante pulmonar y de corazón a Sandro es de "alta complejidad".
Días atrás, la jefa de prensa del cantante, Nora Lafont, se refirió al delicado estado de salud que atraviesa el gitano: “Está en horas decisivas. A Roberto se le acaban los tiempos para recibir el trasplante. Queremos que la gente se anime a donar los órganos”
Primer contacto de los médicos con la prensa
Cerca del mediodía, en las instalaciones del hospital Italiano, el Dr. Nicolás-que forma parte del grupo multidiciplinario de médicos que llevarán adelante la intevención quirúrgica a Sandro-, habló con la prensa y aseguró que el bloque cardiopulmonar que se le transplantará al cantante proviene de un joven de 22 años de edad y aseguró que Sandro se encuentra bien y con buen ánimo, de cara a la intervención a la que se someterá en pocas horas más.
El Dr. Nicolas aseguró que la intervención, que durará entre cuatro y cinco horas o más, se dividirá en dos partes y que la parte más compleja es la extracción de los órganos enfermos del cantante-pulmón y corazón-. En Buenos Aires ya se encuentra trabajando el equipo que le realizará la ablación al donante.
"Las próximas 48 y 72 horas después de que se realice la intervención, serán las más críticas y a ellas estaremos sujetos para determinar la evolución del paciente", dijo el médico. El post operatorio del cantante que se encuentra en una habitación del nosocomio en forma individual, se realizará en Mendoza.
El Doctor Burgos será quien iniciará la intervención y de la misma participarán alrededor de 70 personas.
"En estos momentos se le está haciendo una serie de estudios antes de ingresar al paciente al quirófano", aseguró el médico, quien también contó que el hospital tomó medidas de seguridad, restringiendo las visitas y al periodismo.
